We led design mentorship for the Innofounder program from 2018 to 2020.

The foundation of the program already existed thanks to some excellent work, and so much of the new work to be done was in redesigning the mentorship and teaching model to fit the changing needs of the program.

For each biannual cohort, we would provide mentorship and coaching services to approximeately eight startup founding teams. This mentorship was supplemented by eight days of skills-focused workshops focused on design research, service and systems thinking, prototyping, and a crash course in product market fit tools (canvases, stakeholder and ecosystem mapping, etc).

As the program grew, additional mentors and workshops were needed to meet the needs of the program. We were responsible for identifying and training those mentors.

The Innofounder program is now managed fully by the wonderful folk at Second Foundation, who were the brains behind its operation in the first place.
